Europe > Switzerland

Switzerland is small in size and very easy to travel around. Language can be hard to get a handle on as there are three linguistic areas: the German-speaking north, central, and east; the French-influenced west: and the Italian- inspired south.

Geneva
Geneva and Lake Geneva are both area's that are easy to reach, very clean and unique. At the lakes edge you will find a most interesting castle to visit, Chillon. Chillon has a great collection of Medieval Armor and Weapons. After your visit take a break and sit outside enjoy the beautiful Lake.

Zermatt

Zermatt is like taking a walk back in time. It is located at the foot of the Matterhorn. This little town is very quaint and car free. If you're a ski enthusiast Zermatt has a lot to offer. To reach Zermatt you will have to take a ride on the Glacier Express. This train slices through some of the most spectacular countryside. If your not planning on an overnight visit at least take the train up and back it is well worth it.

Interlaken and Lucerne
Interlaken is what most people picture Switzerland to be. Lots of cute chalets, imposing clocks and views of the Jingfrau Mountains. Lucerne is close by and much the same in this medieval walled city.
