Canada

Canada is the World's second biggest nation in size. It consists of ten provinces and two territories. The six main tourist regions are The Yukon, British Columbia, the Canadian Rockies, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. The best time to visit is May –September. The weather is warmer and daylight last longer that time of the year.

If you want to see Canada from Lake Ontario to the Rockies, Away We Go Travel can arrange a Trans-Canadian Rail Journey. The Canadian Transcontinental train offers award winning service and private sleeping accommodations. It’s considered “The Most Spectacular Train Trip in the World”. In beautiful British Columbia you will find the Cities of Vancouver and Victoria on Vancouver Island. British Columbia from the Rockies to the Pacific is possibly the most spectacular part of Canada.

From the salmon-rich waters, abundant coastal scenery and ranges of snowcapped peaks you can experience some of its natural beauty. When visiting Vancouver don’t miss Stanley Park, a thousand-acre wildness park. Take the carriage ride through the park; it included beaches, the ocean, the harbor, Douglas fir and Cedar forests, plus the North Shore Mountains.

Victoria is this traveler’s pick. You can get there by ferry from Vancouver or Seattle Washington. The scenery is beautiful! Victoria is dominated by 19th Century buildings. Spend the day exploring the sights and pleasures of this beautiful British-style city. If you’re able to stay we recommend The Fairmont Empress. It is filled with old world charm and offers one of the best British style Afternoon Tea’s. Don’t miss it!

Ontario is a large eastern province and is becoming a major tourist destination. The city of Toronto offers restaurants and theater life that are rich and diverse. When there you don’t want to miss a day trip to Niagara Falls. The only really full view of the two major Niagara Cascades is on this Canadian side. We recommend the small attractions such as the Scenic Tunnels and the Maid of Mist boat ride.

Montreal is in Quebec. A trip to Quebec they say is the next best thing to a trip to Europe. There are remarkable churches to see and hundreds of great eateries. Quebec is the bastion of French influence, and a great place to shop.
